KBLI search
KBLI 2025 (BPS Regulation No. 7 of 2025) has been used on OSS for new applications since June 2026.
KBLI 2020 (BPS Regulation No. 2 of 2020) still appears on NIBs and deeds issued before the switch to KBLI 2025.

What is KBLI?
KBLI is the standard classification from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) for grouping business activities. Each activity has a five-digit code.
The code decides which licences you need on OSS and your risk level. Choosing the wrong KBLI can leave you with licences that don't match the business you actually run.
KBLI is used for
- The business purpose in a PT or CV deed of establishment
- NIB registration on OSS
- Deciding the risk level and which business licences you need
- Business field requirements for a PT PMA (foreign-owned company)
Tips for choosing a KBLI
- Pick the code closest to what you actually do, not one that just sounds similar.
- A business can have several KBLI codes. Include activities you plan to start soon.
- Read the code's description, not just its title. Many titles sound alike but cover different things.
- If in doubt, ask first. Changing a KBLI after the deed is issued means amending the deed.
